description = The Gere Sport Biplane is a 30's era homebuilt biplane. Early models used Ford Model T and Model A engines. There are several of these planes still being built and flown. This FS2004 version is powered by a Continental C-90-12F engine, which gives it a cruise speed of over 100 mph. It was created using actual plans (from the EAA 1933 Flying Manual) and the flight model was derived from an actual Gere Sport (N4686T).
